The Parent's Association of St. Julian's School

The Parents' Association role is to support parents and students by working with the school team to provide a flow of information in both directions. This is achieved by gaining parent input and meeting regularly with the Senior Leadership Team from the school to discuss that input. These meetings take place with each section, that is: Primary, Secondary and the Portuguese Section. The Parents' Association (PA) has a Coordinator for each section and Class Reps who establish the direct contact with the parent body.

Outcomes from those meetings are then communicated back to parents via the Class Reps and various other forms of communication.

The PA also runs an office for second-hand uniform sales which is run by parent volunteers. Opening hours are published in The Lighthouse and displayed at the office.

We also organise social and fundraising events such as the annual Cheese & Wine, which is a get-together for all parents and teachers, and the famous Bonfire Night. You have to come! Plans for additional social events are being formulated and will be communicated once finalised.

All functions of the PA are run by volunteers and we are delighted to welcome all parents who are interested in helping. Get in touch!
