International Time visited Brazil
During International Time, students in 3º, Ano welcomed some parents into class to share the rich culture of Brazil.
Parents and students shared fascinating facts about Brazil's geography, famous landmarks like the Amazon Rainforest and Christ the Redeemer, and the diverse wildlife.
Students were particularly excited to learn about Brazilian festivals, such as Carnival, with its colorful costumes, lively music, and joyful parades.
A highlight for many was learning about some of Brazil's best football teams, including Flamengo, Vasco da Gama and Palmeiras.
One of the highlights was when the children tasted some delicious Brazilian snacks, including "pão de queijo" and "brigadeiros".
This International Time session was not only informative but also helped to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of global cultures among our students. We are grateful to the Brazilian parents for sharing their culture and making this an unforgettable experience for everyone.
