SJS Division 4 Girls Win First Football Match Against OIS

On Friday, the 7th of October, Division 4 girls played their first football match against OIS at St. Julian’s. The match was very competitive, with a strong OIS side taking the lead early in the first half. The St. Julian’s girls regrouped and started to play some really nice football and were rewarded by taking the lead with 2 goals before halftime to make it 2-1.
Both teams made several changes at halftime, and St. Julians continued to threaten the OIS goal whilst defending well when needed. Two more goals made it 4-1 to St.Julians before OIS pulled a goal back just before the end. Final score St. Julians 4 OIS 2. A pleasing start to the season, with more matches to come. Congratulations girls!
