Storytelling has always been an integral part of education. Stories not only captivate young minds but also serve as powerful tools for teaching reading and writing skills. "Little Red Riding Hood" is a timeless story that resonates with children of all ages.

The Year 2 team creatively brought ‘"Little Red Riding Hood"  to life with an animated and entertaining outdoor performance. The children were able to interact with our very own Big Bad Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood during the performance, all helping to motivate the children and provide a memorable experience. The children then took ideas from the performance to reenact the story in small groups in the classrooms.

By bringing this story to life, the Year 2 team created a more immersive and memorable learning experience for our students and launched a three-week unit that will culminate with the children writing their own adaptation of the classic fairy tale.
