At the moment, our effort still resides in reducing contacts beyond class groups, being our top priority that students can come to school for face to face teaching and be safe.  As such, we expect to run a full programme from mid-October onwards (being launched by phases), and we are now launching phase 1, which includes sports clubs, drama and music provision, and soccerpro (football) and tennis. We will continue to run clubs in year group bubbles, but we can join year groups as soon as the rules become less rigid.

You can find the activities available here. To register your child, please refer to the communication sent on Tuesday, 7th of September.

Information on Soccer Pro Football and Tennis Clubs:

St. Julian's Soccer and Tennis clubs will continue to operate as independent clubs, following all the Portuguese health body's continuous safety and health guidelines. Registration and payments are made directly to the clubs.

Please get in touch with the clubs on:

Soccerpro Football:
Phone: 912 554 696
Email: [email protected]

Carcavelos Ténis & Padel:
Phone: 214 563 668 | 916 120 372 (whatsapp)
E-mail: [email protected]

Important Notes:

-  There are limited numbers in some activities (Gymnastics and Movement Club), so classes are going to be organised based on:

1st: students who have already signed up for supervision;
2nd: first come, first served.

An email confirmation will be sent to you if your child has a place before the club's start.

-  Parents with more than one child attending different clubs will have to pick them up separately, even if that implies 2 trips to school, as there will not be additional supervision provided for siblings ending at an earlier time.

-  Your child will be collected by the club teacher at the end of their school day and be handed over to parents or guardians at the West gate (Nursery to Y5) and Main gate (Y6 to Y13). Please be prompt with the pick-up times, as teachers have other commitments.

-  Please encourage your child to bring reusable water bottles as well as their SJS sports kit, hats and shin guards, football boots, and waterproofs.

-  Activities may be withdrawn should participant numbers fail to meet established minimums.

-  If there are any medical issues that we should be aware of, please email us when it is necessary.
