Message from the Head of School

Dear Parents,

I hope you and your children enjoyed the four day break from school and were able to relax and enjoy family time together. For me, it was my first opportunity to explore some of the city of Lisbon and the greater Cascais area. I was absolutely amazed; such a richness of culture, history and beauty. Now I understand why Portugal is in the top three retirement destinations in the world - perhaps for me next year...

I hope you enjoy this bumper edition of the Lighthouse, packed with important information and insights into school life. You will probably get to know me a little better with this weeks' podcast and thoroughly enjoy our Primary updates and Portuguese Section International Awards. I would also like to invite you to explore Sarah Dore's article on the learning opportunities for parents and carers, which the school is making available to all community members. And finally, your contributions when choosing a WINGS digital version are allowing us to continue our "Feeding Communities" programme, which supports local charities who work for local disadvantaged families.
