‘The Prince and the Pauper’ and ‘World’s Worst Teachers’ live performances coming soon!
A cast of 20 Y6 students have shown great commitment to learning lines and rehearsing independently during their Tuesday lunchtime club. They are preparing a 30-minute performance of ‘The Prince and The Pauper’, the classic tale by Mark Twain. This amazing ensemble, directed by Mrs Weiner will perform before the Easter holiday; the date, time and audience to be confirmed.
Y5 students in the performing arts club, who also meet on a Tuesday lunchtime, have chosen to write their own play based on the idea of David Walliam’s hit book ‘The World’s Worst Teachers’. This creative cast, working with Mrs Weiner, have developed original characters with wonderful catchphrases and now they will begin devising and rehearsing a scene for each one. What dreadful fate awaits the children taught by ‘Mr Vogey Bogey’, ‘Ms Ghoul’ and Principal Pickles? Performances will be scheduled for Term 3.
