Varsity Boys Volleyball

After a long break, the volleyball season came back this year and it was incredibly rewarding to participate in it once again, and for a final time.  However, managing to arrange alongside Ms Small and coach Rui, several lunchtime sessions that every team member could attend was quite the challenge.

After a very successful group stage campaign where both games were won by 2-0, we played the final game to determine the winner of this year’s championship at CAISL against their team. Our year 13’s played a vital role in bringing experience and quality volleyball to the team which inevitably led us to a 2-0 victory.

It was great to see the majority of the team transitioning from the Division 3 level to the varsity team with major improvements during the process. We hope we were able to pass on a winning mentality to the younger students and to have built a solid foundation to defend the title next year.
