Study in GB - Universities Fair is Back!
On Friday 29th April, St Julian's was proud and excited to host the first face-to-face university fair for two years! It was definitely refreshing for us all to have in-person speakers and to be able to engage with university representatives in person rather than online.
During this event, university representatives from a number of well-known universities, as part of the 'Study in GB' tour group, joined us to speak with our students in Y12 to help them explore the possibilities and pathways open for university study in the UK. In total, 10 Universities from across England, Scotland and Wales participated, inclusive of Aston University, Cardiff University, City (University of London), Royal Holloway (University of London), University of Bristol, University of Edinburgh, University of Essex, University of Plymouth, and the University of Sussex.
St Julian's has a longstanding relationship with this tour group, and it was a pleasure to see our students engage with the speakers. With restrictions lifting, we look forward to more face-to-face fairs from global university representatives to further inform our student's decision-making.
With informed decision-making in mind, the Student Futures Team is excited to host our 'HE Day' on Thursday, June 2nd. This will be an entire day for Y12 students to participate in numerous workshops and information sessions hosted by internal and external speakers to present information on global study courses and opportunities and application systems and requirements. More information will follow soon!
