PACT Charity Committee Relaunches Joint Football Training Project 

A joint project between the school, PACT Charity Committee and Carcavelos Community Centre (CCC) is underway. Before Covid, a group of students set up football training on Saturday mornings for children associated with the Community Centre using the school facilities. These were IB students and this helped them achieve their CAS objectives. It was very successful but unfortunately, Covid intervened and it had to stop.

We are delighted to say the project is back! Four IB students Rodrigo Salvado Ferreira da Silva, Bernardo Sousa, Frederico Aleixo and Josh Green started the full training this Saturday. 24 children from CCC, aged 6-14 years old, attended. The morning was a great success with the new coaches doing a great job! This will now continue every Saturday Morning. It is a great testament to the coaches that they are committed to this, especially as they have to be at school at 8.45 am on a Saturday!
