UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge
On Wednesday, 1 February, 15 of our keenest mathematicians gave up their time after school to participate in the UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge.
The IMC is open to students up to (and including) Year 11.
Only students in the top 50% of candidates are awarded certificates, and these are awarded in the ratio 3:2:1 for bronze, silver and gold.

Owen scored full marks and will go on to participate in the Maclaurin Olympiad.
Adam and Doria also deserve special mention as they qualified for the Kangaroo competition (but sadly that is not offered to overseas centres). This is all the more impressive as they are in Years 9 & 8 respectively.
Many congratulations to all who participated.
