This Year's “House Talent Show” Was a Blast!
This year the talent show took place in front of a live audience with acts from all sections of the school, including the staff. We saw performance art, dancing, magic, comedy and music. A very impressive range of talent was on display from all who took part. A panel of judges gave fantastic constructive feedback, and the audience got to vote for their favourites as well.
The two sets of scores were combined, and winners in each section were chosen. Mr Edmundo Rosa (Russell) was the winning act from the staff. He sang Uma Casa Portuguesa. In the Primary, Julia Neves (5IG) was the winner for Franklin. She not only sang and played the piano, she also composed the song. Mia Lavrador from Secondary won for Bucknall with a brilliant display of street dancing. The combined scores from all the acts were added, and we had joint overall winners of ES and Franklin.
