The tournament took place on our Basketball courts, with 4 more schools competing. The Orlando Magic (St. António International School), Washington Wizards (Ext. Nossa Senhora do Rosário), Atlanta Hawks (Prime School International), and Miami Heat (EB Escultor Francisco dos Santos) came into an afternoon rich with great plays, which resulted in excellent teamwork among students, moments of great fair play towards referees and opponents, and a great individual commitment in trying their personal best.

Player Duarte Moura (Year 8) shared his personal experience...“ On the 18th of March 2023, I had the opportunity to take part in the Jr NBA tournament held here at St Julian’s. Personally, it was a great experience that I will never forget! It was very well organized, and I wouldn’t have missed a chance to play basketball, especially this one. With all the great players, great coaches and great teams, the most successful tournament occurred. Overall, I think that JR NBA is a great way to enjoy playing basketball and that all students should be looking forwards to their opportunity to represent their school on a JR NBA tournament."
