In the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) component is a fundamental pillar that encourages students to engage in diverse experiences outside the traditional classroom setting. Over the last three months, the students involved in this strand option researched, planned, and initiated photography exhibitions by making their own websites. In small teams, the students have demonstrated a number of the CAS Learning Outcomes to make their websites under the overarching theme of "Live Laugh Love Lisboa."

Each team, inspired by the vibrancy of Lisbon, began a journey to capture the essence of their experiences through the lens of a camera. The resulting photography exhibitions are not merely collections of images but a personal expression of the students' reflections on their engagement with the community and the diversity of life in Lisbon.

Within the broader umbrella theme, students individually selected sub-themes that resonated with their personal connections to the city. Whether capturing the picturesque landscapes, the conviviality of local communities, or the dynamic culture, each student contributed a unique perspective. These exhibitions serve as a testament to the student's creativity, showcasing the power of photography to foster understanding and appreciation for life in Lisbon.

Through this CAS initiative, students demonstrate their artistic talents and embody the principles of global citizenship and community engagement inherent in the IBDP.
