7º ano and Year 8 students showcase their Creative Arts Talents
Students in 7ªano and Year 8 had the opportunity to showcase and share their recent learning from Creative Arts with their parents. This was not a polished performance and should be considered an open lesson where a small part of students' learning could be discovered. Students explored a variety of arts, from percussion performances to popular musicals. They were then asked to devise, direct and lead personalised outcomes.
Lessons that look suspiciously out of control culminated in choreographed performances with loud boomwhacker tubes and energetic boxing scenes. All students should feel a sense of pride and achievement at the end of this project. We hope this has created a curious dialogue between parents and their children.
