Our Enrichment Projects foster new learning paths for our students

In this engaging project, students dive into the world of sustainability and environmental stewardship through the Enrichment curriculum. Starting with a comprehensive analysis to identify environmental issues within their school community and to gauge awareness of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), students are empowered to select an SDG that resonates with them. With the guidance of their teachers, students embark on a journey of planning and designing a sustainable outdoor table.

As the project unfolds, students immerse themselves in hands-on learning experiences, honing practical skills in carpentry, teamwork, and problem-solving. They collaborate closely, sharing ideas and expertise, fostering a sense of collective responsibility towards their shared goal of creating positive environmental change. The culmination of their efforts is the creation of a visually appealing and environmentally conscious outdoor table, which stands as a tangible representation of their dedication to sustainability.
In a final showcase event, students proudly present their completed projects to their peers and teachers. Here, they not only demonstrate the fruits of their labour but also reflect on the challenges encountered along the way and share valuable insights and best practices with their audience. This presentation serves as a celebration of their achievements and a platform for inspiring further action and awareness within the school community and beyond.
