Year 1 Explorers have a fabulous day at the Lisbon Zoo!
On a sunny day, our enthusiastic Year 1 children embarked on an enlightening journey to Lisbon Zoo! This trip, a part of our 'Amazing Animals' and 'Our Wonderful World' topics, offered the children a close encounter with the diverse species they have been learning about in class.
From majestic lions to graceful giraffes, the children learnt about animal origins and lifestyles. The bird show at the Enchanted Forest was a true highlight, allowing an up-close experience with tropical birds in flight. The Reptile House also captivated them, introducing the children to the fascinating world of reptiles, including the mythical Komodo dragon and the giant American alligator. These experiences also sparked meaningful discussions about conservation, underscoring our role in protecting these magnificent beings. It was a day of joy, wonder, and invaluable learning.
