Feeding Community Programme Wins International Award

10.000 meals have already been delivered to local charities in partnership with our catering team Thomas Franks, as part of the global ‘Feeding Communities’ Programme.

Last week saw the Thomas Franks Award evening where schools and organisations from the whole of the Thomas Franks family were represented, including those in the UK, Malta, Portugal and Ireland. We were very excited to be awarded the ‘International Feeding Communities Award’.

This programme has been sponsored to date by our amazing Parents Association who have dedicated the funds raised through uniform sales for this important project - enabling us to continue to provide hundreds of meals each week for a range of local charities, including the Carcavelos Community Centre, Parede Community Centre and Casa.

We owe a huge thank you to the Thomas Franks team for enabling us to be part of this worldwide project and for dedicating hundreds of volunteering hours to preparing fantastic food for families in need, and for working with us to help to eradicate food poverty in our local area.
