Technology Provision and rollout
We are very excited to see our continued provision of iPads to students across the school. Our Year 4 and Year 7 students have now moved to a 1:1 programme and have all had a week of being supported by our pastoral teams and our Technology Coaches to ensure they have covered all of our Acceptable Use Policies and are able to get help and support when required.
Parents can see more about our 1:1 programmes here and also we have collated a range of Digital Citizenship information for parents here.
This year we have also provisioned all of our teaching staff with Apple Macbooks and we have all our classrooms set up with Apple TVs to provide a seamless, secure and collaborative environment for all our students.
In the first week of term our technology training focus built teacher skills with Macbooks and covered innovative uses of technology in the classroom.
As a Google Workspace for Education school we are also excited to be using all the new features that have been rolled out to our Education Plus subscription. This not only provides a fantastic range of platforms for use in school but also allows us to better support our Virtual Learners. More details on our Virtual Student programmes can be seen on our Continuing Learning website.
