Varsity Girls Football Matches Are Back!

WOW! What a way to start the season against one of our biggest competitors! 
As captain I am so incredibly proud of our team's communication skills and applying what we have been training in practice in the game against CAISL. We scored some fantastic goals, made excellent passes and more than anything showed great sportsmanship. 
I could see the pure joy and excitement everyone was feeling during the game. We all tried our best and played a great game, ending the match with the well deserved score of 5-1. 
Goals came from Chloe Hosford, Luena Ferreira, Marta Maia with a fantastic solo goal, and I also scored 2. 
We can’t wait for the next game. LETS GO JULIANS!

Last Friday, December 3rd, Junior Varsity played our first game of the season, an incredible match against CAISL. We had goals two from Melissa Sousa, and then Paula, Sienna, Benedita, and Aleks each scoring a goal. The combination of these wonderful goals and of course the rest of the teams’ iron defence meant we ended up beating CAISL 6-0. Everyone played extremely well, and I am so happy to have inter-year sport back on in school, to many more wins!
