To celebrate Children’s day this year, we held our annual Art Day. The theme was ‘It’s Good To Be Me’. All around the Primary School the children and staff were taking part in lots of different activities and created some beautiful artworks that are now on display at the Primary School’s main entrance.

The children were experimenting with a broad range of mediums and techniques, they were painting, drawing, printing, collaging and sculpting. They explored the ideas of self and identity, thinking about what is special to them and what makes them unique. Some children explored how they could use colour to reflect their moods and feelings and other children looked at making art with their facial features and body parts. Everybody had a great day!
