KS3 Adventurous Activities Days
Last week our KS3 students took part in adventurous activities that pushed them to challenge themselves, work collaboratively in teams, and step out of their comfort zones. The exciting trips took them to various locations, including scaling rock faces in Sintra, jumping off cliffs into the ocean in Sesimbra, kayaking along the stunning coastlines and Tagus River in Constância, and exploring the beautiful forests of the Sintra National Park.
Throughout the trips, our students demonstrated great enthusiasm and a willingness to try new experiences. They embraced the physical challenges of scaling the rock faces and leaping into the ocean, showing bravery and resilience. Working together in teams, they supported and encouraged one another, fostering a sense of camaraderie and unity.
Overall, the trip provided our KS3 students with a memorable and enriching experience. They not only enjoyed the exciting activities but also learned valuable lessons about teamwork, resilience, and pushing their boundaries. Stepping out of their comfort zones allowed them to discover new strengths and capabilities, fostering personal growth and self-confidence.
On the 23rd, our students participated in an exciting House competition that fostered teamwork and camaraderie. The competition brought together students from different year groups, including Years 7, 8, and 9, who formed mixed teams to tackle a variety of challenges and earn points for their respective houses.
The primary objective of the competition was to promote effective teamwork and collaboration among students. They had to rely on each other's strengths, communicate effectively, and use strategies to complete the challenges successfully. By mixing students from different year groups, they had the opportunity to learn from one another and foster a sense of unity within their houses.
