The St. Julian’s Model United Nations team gave a fantastic account of themselves in the American University two-day conference organised by SJS alumnus Tristen Torres. St Julian’s was only one of four international schools attending, with the remaining 900 students coming from all over America to attend this highly esteemed MUN simulation.

The students were very well prepared and were able to consistently demonstrate their excellent communication skills alongside their skills of negotiation, diplomacy and public speaking. The students also had the opportunity to take a tour around the Capitol building, walk down the Washington Mall and visit the fabulous African American museum. We also brunched in style on a daily basis.  If you would like to see the students in action, then please visit the website we created that documents the trip.

The weekly MUN activity takes place on Wednesdays between 4.00pm and 5.00pm.

Mr Damien Blanchard, Head of Business and Economics and MUN Coordinator
